Emma, daughter of the late Douglas Gascoine, runs the business and has been closely involved for many years working alongside her father.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy meeting people and building long-term relationships with clients across the area. No two days are ever the same, and it’s rewarding being part of a business with such a strong local reputation and history. I also really value hearing the stories people still share about DG and the foundations he built. There’s a real sense of trust and loyalty attached to the Gascoines name, and being part of continuing that legacy means a great deal to me.
How do you spend your time away from the office?
Away from work, I enjoy golf, sport, and spending time with family and friends. I’m particularly interested in rugby and horse racing and enjoy anything that gets me outdoors and away from a screen.
As Office Manager of the Southwell branch, Jess is responsible for the day to day running of the office as well as valuing property and land in Southwell and its surrounding villages.
